Rest up to kick off your adventure.
Today, you'll take a flight from New Delhi to Varanasi, the spiritual and cultural capital of India. Also known as Kashi, Varanasi is one of the oldest cities in the world. Upon arrival, head to the famous Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. The rituals performed by priests, with fire and mantras, create an unforgettable atmosphere. If you're visiting during Diwali, the experience becomes even more magical with thousands of diyas floating on the Ganges.
Start the day by taking your Royal Enfield for a ride through the narrow lanes of Varanasi. Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the holiest temples in India, and explore the historic Assi Ghat. In the evening, experience Diwali in Varanasi. The city transforms into a luminous spectacle, with diyas floating on the Ganges and fireworks lighting up the sky. Join the locals for prayers, sweets, and dances as you immerse yourself in the Festival of Lights in one of the world's most sacred cities.
Leave behind the ancient streets of Varanasi and embark on a scenic ride to Sasaram, a city rich in history. The journey will take you through rural landscapes and small villages, offering the chance to connect with India's countryside. In Sasaram, visit the tomb of Sher Shah Suri, an impressive example of Mughal architecture, and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.
Today, head to Betla, located in the Palamau Tiger Reserve. The roads leading to Betla are perfect for a Royal Enfield ride, offering a mix of smooth roads and more rugged terrain. Once there, enjoy a safari through the Betla National Park, where you can spot tigers, elephants, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
Continue your journey through the picturesque hills of Jharkhand toward Ranchi, the capital of the state. The smooth roads and changing landscapes make this ride a pleasant one. Once in Ranchi, visit Dassam Falls and the Rock Garden, two serene spots perfect for unwinding after a day of riding.
The ride from Ranchi to Jamshedpur is short, but it takes you through lush landscapes and small industrial villages. Jamshedpur, known as the "Steel City" due to the famous Tata Steel plant, is also home to green spaces like Jubilee Park and the Tata Steel Zoological Park, ideal for an evening stroll.
Head towards the coastal town of Digha, famous for its beautiful beaches. The ride along the coastline offers a great opportunity to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. Once you arrive, spend the evening unwinding on the beach, soaking in the beauty of the Bay of Bengal.
Ride along the flat roads of West Bengal toward Kolkata, the cultural capital of India. Known for its colonial charm, Kolkata offers rich history with landmarks like the Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, and the Indian Museum. In the evening, savor a traditional Bengali dinner and dive into the lively atmosphere of Park Street or New Market.
Leave Kolkata behind and head to Durgapur, a major industrial city. Enjoy a smooth ride on well-paved roads. In Durgapur, visit the Bengal Safari Park and spend a relaxing evening by the Durgapur Barrage, a perfect spot to unwind.
Take the road to Deoghar, a sacred town known for the Baidyanath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. If your visit coincides with Chhat Puja, you'll witness one of India’s most vibrant and spiritual festivals. Devotees gather on the banks of rivers to sing hymns and pay homage to the Sun God. The intensity of the devotion and the energy of the festival make this experience truly unique.
Leave Deoghar and head toward Bodhgaya, where Buddha attained enlightenment. The route takes you through lush fields and rural roads. Once in Bodhgaya, visit the Mahabodhi Temple and meditate under the iconic Bodhi Tree. Bodhgaya is a peaceful and spiritually powerful location.
Start your day early by participating in the Chhat Puja celebrations on the banks of the river in Bodhgaya. Watch as devotees pay tribute to the Sun God at sunrise, accompanied by traditional songs and dances—a truly spiritual experience. In the afternoon, take a short ride to the Dungeshwari Caves, a meditation site used by Buddha before his enlightenment. A perfect blend of spirituality and adventure.
After this deeply spiritual experience, take a flight back to New Delhi. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through the markets of Connaught Place or visit other iconic landmarks like Humayun’s Tomb or the Lotus Temple.
