Do you want to discover the authentic charm of Rajasthan, the splendour of the princes of yesteryear? Then this is the trip for you. We take a small detour on our trip to pay our respects to one of the 7 Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal, and then ride through the countryside on the back roads. We will discover the former hunting grounds of the Maharajas on a safari in the Ranthambore National Park, an escape to discover pristine wildlife. And if we're lucky, the tigers, the stars of the park, will honour us with their presence. Our journey will end in Udaipur, the romantic city of lakes and queen of sumptuous royal residences, where we will take a well-deserved rest. Throughout our trip, you will spend your nights in historic residences with majestic architecture.
You will be met at the airport by one of our guides, who will accompany you to the hotel in the centre of our capital, Delhi, where you will be free to roam the city.
Departure for Agra and the Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built entirely by hand at the request of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. This emblematic monument of India is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will then spend the night in Dholpur in a former palace of the Maharajas (Maha: Great - Raja: King).
For our first Motorcycle trip, we will cross a somewhat deserted region before heading gently along more verdant country roads towards the Ramathra fort, where we will be able to take a well-deserved rest.
A short drive to Ranthambore Park, one of India's favourite wilderness destinations. The safari is by jeep. In this wilderness setting, you will have the privilege of observing a multitude of animal species, including tigers, leopards, lippus bears, axis deer and monkeys, as well as crocodiles and more than 250 species of birds on the shores of the lakes that serve as watering places for the park's animals.
On the way to Bundi, a lovely, quiet, isolated town set in the hills where Rudyard Kipling wrote his novel The Jungle Book.
We will spend the night in a Haveli, a typical residence of former Rajput princes or Mewari merchants built at the end of the 19th century; an original way of immersing ourselves in the history of these lands of northern India steeped in history.
Quiet ride through the countryside towards Shahpura, surrounded by nature and magnificent views.
Today we wake up early to cover the 130 km to Sardagarh. The Aravalli Mountains will be our companions. The rest of the day will be devoted to princely life, relaxation and free time.
Here we are in the heart of Rajasthan, in the Aravalli mountains, a low mountain range that is nevertheless effective enough to separate the Thar desert from the monsoon region. We drive through lush green valleys towards our destination, Udaipur, the city of lakes, including the famous Lake Pichola and its famous sunsets.
A day in Udaipur, the ancient city, enchanting and full of beauty, will delight you with its gardens, colourful streets, arts, culture and architectural styles, as well as its astonishing wealth of miniatures, wood carvings and fabrics. and fly to Delhi at the end of the day. Overnight at the hotel.
